Between maritime heritage and textile tradition, some encounters seem natural. In Saint-Goustan, the emblematic port of Auray, where tall ships continue to sail thanks to the dedication of enthusiasts, the Mod Kozh association works daily to preserve a precious part of Brittany's maritime history. Because the sea has always been part of our identity, All'Océan is proud to support this initiative of transmitting and preserving heritage.

Our Commitment

For over 30 years, All'Océan has drawn its inspiration from the landscapes, traditions, and maritime expertise of Brittany. Because our history is intimately linked to that of the men and women who live to the rhythm of the sea, we wanted to support the Mod Kozh association, based in the historic port of Saint-Goustan in Auray. This association brings together enthusiasts committed to the preservation, restoration, and sailing of traditional Breton boats. Thanks to their daily work, an exceptional maritime heritage continues to thrive and pass on its history to new generations. As part of this partnership, All'Océan was delighted to provide Breton striped shirts to the association's members to support their activities, their outings at sea, and the many events that bring the port of Saint-Goustan to life.

Breton Sailor Shirts Serving Maritime Heritage

Renowned for its authentic Breton sailor shirts, All'Océan has been supporting coastal enthusiasts and those involved in maritime heritage for many years. Our Bosco sailor shirts, inspired by traditional sailors' attire, are worn in many Breton ports such as Le Crouesty, Port-Blanc, La Trinité-sur-Mer, Auray, and around the Gulf of Morbihan. This historical connection with the maritime world gives full meaning to our partnership with Mod Kozh. By offering 100 Breton striped shirts to its volunteers, we wish to recognize those who preserve traditional sailing vessels, pass on maritime skills, and contribute to keeping the spirit of Breton ports alive.

Shared Values

Beyond a simple partnership, this collaboration between All'Océan and Mod Kozh is based on shared values.

  • Preserve rather than replace
  • Pass on rather than forget
  • Keep heritage alive rather than freeze it in time

Just as the volunteers at Mod Kozh passionately restore heritage boats, we perpetuate the tradition of nautical clothing in our own way through collections inspired by the Breton coastline. The Breton striped shirt holds a special place in this story. An emblematic garment of sailors for over a century, it still symbolizes today the attachment to the sea, ports, and nautical traditions.

Saint-Goustan, a port steeped in history

Located in the heart of Auray, the port of Saint-Goustan is one of the most emblematic sites of Brittany's maritime heritage. Its cobbled quays, half-timbered houses, and traditional boats offer a unique setting where maritime history remains very much alive. Thanks to the commitment of the Mod Kozh association and its volunteers, several heritage boats continue to sail and participate in maritime gatherings in Southern Brittany. We are proud to contribute, in our own way, to this wonderful human and maritime adventure. The entire All'Océan team warmly thanks the Mod Kozh volunteers for their welcome, their passion, and their commitment to preserving Brittany's heritage.

Beyond the Breton striped shirts offered, this partnership primarily illustrates a shared commitment: to keep alive and pass on a heritage that defines our region's identity. The volunteers of Mod Kozh dedicate their time and energy to preserving boats steeped in history, testaments to Brittany's rich maritime past. Through our collections inspired by the marine world, All'Océan shares this same ambition to pass on this heritage, celebrating the traditions, skills, and authenticity that connect us to the sea. We are proud to support this dedicated association and warmly thank all its members for their welcome, their passion, and their remarkable work. Because traditions only thrive when they are shared, we will continue to support those who work every day to perpetuate the Breton maritime spirit. In Saint-Goustan, as along the entire Breton coastline, the sea remains a living legacy. Together, let's continue to guide it into the future.
